5 Grilled Foods Every Man Should Try Out
Grilling has always been a part of men’s diet. It probably started during the ancient times when male hunters grilled animals they caught in the wilds. These days, it is a lot easier to get the meat though, and they are all ready for the grilling pan. There are five best grilled foods that all men should try out and these are:
#1 Grilled Food – Lamb Chops
Every man should always try lamb chops. This is not only nutritious, it is also rich in protein and iron which is great in building muscles and maintaining general health. Lamb chops are very flavorful especially if you marinade it with tasty spices and sauces. For better and more flavorful taste, marinade the lamb chops overnight before grilling.
#2 Grilled Food – Clams
Most of the best meals are the simplest ones. Grilled clams are very delicious and easy to prepare. If you’re eating alone, you can buy a dozen or two of clams and give them a thorough scrub in cold water. Toss them into a high-heat grill and wait for them to open, they’re done! As simple as that. You may add some herbs and spices on top and mix it with apple cider vinegar or depending on your taste. This will make a perfect dinner.
#3 Grilled Food – Pork Shoulder
Let me tell you a secret to how you can make your pork shoulder crispy and delicious: Indirect heat grilling! Yes; by using a grilling pan, place your marinated pork shoulders and place it on top of your burning coals. This makes the meat a lot tender while the juices remain inside without draining. This is a great food for afternoon grills with your friends.
#4 Grilled Food – Squid
This is a favorite dish in Japan. You may think it’s strange to grill squid, but it’s actually the best way to cook it. Grilling squid releases all its flavors out. In Japan and the rest of Asia, grilled squid are being sold by side walk vendors. To make one for yourself, just marinade 3 to 5 pieces of medium sized squids and grill it for a few minutes on each side. Be careful not to burn the squids. Add some herbs and spices for garnish.
#5 Grilled Food – Lobster
Any food is better when grilled, especially lobster. When lobster is heated over the griller, the juiciness will come out producing a really delicious meal. Marinade the lobster with soy sauce, spices and herbs and let it sit for a few hours before hitting the grill. Grill it for a few minutes on medium heat until it becomes red in color.
Grilling is something that men love to do in the weekends with their friends or any time that they think of using the grill. Like most men say, grill is a man’s best friend when it comes to food.
